Jana Spicka and Women Getting Real

Rescue. At Women Getting Real (WGR) we know what it’s like to be crippled by our own decisions or someone else’s actions. But we want more. More than pretending. More than band-aids. Why? Because there is more to us than the drama we live in. Through Jesus, we have more! and we are not going to settle for less anymore.

It all began with one heartsick woman, Jana Spicka. She has a radical message of God showing up in the middle of her life when she was crippled by “stuff” (abortion, false lovers, self hatred, divorce, and her husband’s porn addiction.) Who doesn’t have some kind of “stuff”?  But when God showed up, He didn’t condemn her or shame her. He changed and transformed her with His real love. He gave her a voice.  Now she is an on-fire Christian author, speaker, songwriter and an advocate for worldwide change.

Restore. WGR is a group of women just like you. We have been impacted by the truths of God and we want to go deeper into Him. We desperately want real relationships along the way. Our goal is to connect people to the heart of God. We want to be walking reminders to each other of Who we really are. We are beautiful. We are worthy of love. We are not defined by our mistakes, but by our choices to believe again in Truth. We want to participate in the Transformation of God. This is a safe place to experience the love and power of God.

Release. When we walk in our Real Identities, when we walk in the Strength of God, we become who God made us to be…And then our eyes go from  managing our own issues to freedom to reaching out to love on others. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” We want to be women who, in time, reach across miles, states and countries, to help other women regain their God given glory. Regardless of where you are in the journey, we invite you into the More of Jesus.
